meeting..

just had a meeting last thursday in meeting room I..
almost all the BOD came n gave their support..
we discussed abt our next activities for all the maths students as well as those that are interested to join maths club..
next sem, we are going to have many activities such as:
dinner, maths week, trip industry and so on..
we will be organising other programmes like maple, spss and career talk for the advantage of all students..
those who are interested in maths, can join n become one of the members of this group.. we do welcome anyone to this club and enjoy the benefits together..

those who are creative, we hope to see a new logo and design for our club's t-shirt..

busy busy..

Everyone surely very busy with assignments right now since mid sem has just finished.. Assignments n assignments..
what to do? this is what uni life is..
we have to handle with pressure n try to manage our time properly..
no worries, we can still managed to enjoy our uni life with frens..:)

anyway, everyone GaMBate!! with hard work n cooperation from frens, we can surely be able to finish our work quickly n have a good rest after that.. think positive ya!!

Matlab..

Hi..
Mathematics Club is organising a Matlab Workshop in UKM. Below is the details:

Programme: Matlab
Date: 12th March 2009(Thursday) or 18th March 2009(Wednesday)
Time: 9.00am to 4.30pm
Venue: Computer Lab 15
Fee: RM1
Food is provided.
Open for Stats and Actuary Students as well(1st to 3rd Year)..

Limited to 30 people each session.. So, you can choose to attend either one of the day.
For those who are interested, please submit your name on Tuesday(10th March) and those who can bring their own laptop can do so. We will install the software for you as well..
Those who attend this workshop will be given a certificate later..

For more information, you can ask any of the BOD.

Beginning..

Welcome!!
Today is the beginning of a new chapter for the Maths Club in UKM.. Although it is quite informal having a blog by a club, but hopefully this will encourage more people to join in and have fun together..

Actually, our club has been trying to get the approval to form since last year.. but thankfully, we managed to form the club with the determinance by some of the maths students in UKM..

Hope everyone will give commitment to this group and get to learn more!!:)
